Innovative Computer Lab Curriculum and Instruction for Leesburg Elementary and Middle School Children
We all want our children to be prepared for and succeed in school, the workforce, and their futures. These days, there is no question that technology literacy plays a key role in that objective. No matter where they turn, they will be expected to utilize technology for a more efficient, productive result.
At TYKE Center, our mission is to provide children and young adults with fun, confidence-boosting experiences with technology in a safe afterschool environment. Our curriculum is exciting and comprehensive – covering everything from basic computing skills at the younger ages, to programming languages and mobile app development in middle school. Afterschool Leesburg programs are directed by teachers in small groups with attention to fun and learning.
Our Afterschool technology teachers work with your students on a weekly computer class schedule, covering a wide range of important, relevant computing topics. We like to say, “if you can think of a computer-based skill, we teach it at some point in our PK-8 curriculum.” You will find everything from coding, podcasts, blogs and wikis, to 3D modeling and animation.
